1. The club will need to vote on a proposal to spend some money for a storage facility to hold all of the club contest materials. Presently, the materials are spread out between several club members and we need to keep the stuff in a central location. If anyone knows of a good deal at any storage facilities, please let bring it up at the meeting. The club will also need to discuss ways to spend some money on club related activities to avoid IRS scrutiny and fees. Please bring your ideas to the meeting.
2.Congratulations to Jim Philhower for being named as the Special Olympics Coach of the Year for Indiana. The article can still be found on the Indystar.com website. Congrations again and way to go, Jim. Roger would like to inform the club of an article that is also on the Indystar.com site concerning a recent medal awarded to one of our honorary club members, Walter Palmer.
3. We will also need to set a date for the 2008 contest at the next meeting. Apparently there have been some problems recently with show dates for the various clubs in our region being scheduled to closely to each other. We need to set a date asap to avoid any conflict with any other club shows. The early consensus is to keep the date as close as possible to the March date from this year.4. Upcoming area events:

The following requests are from Ken:
FOR TRADE: I have a Accurate Miniatures Grumman F3F-2 I'd like to trade for
a Grumman F3F-1. Kit is still sealed in the inner bags. I want to do a
bird from the USS Ranger and need the older and slightly less modern version
(but only slightly).
7. For anyone who is interested in an Armor Group build, I am proposing a 1/35th T-55 build. This is not a contest, just something to show what you can do. Details to be provided at the meeting.
I think this is all for now. If you want to contribute any article, kit review or just have something model related you want to let everyone know about, please let me know. See you friday.
